My Spoken Wikipedia is featured today
I've started helping out with the spoken wikipedia project. One of my articles is featured today. Go to the wikipedia home page, in the featured article section click on 'more...'. There is a little speaker in the upper right corner of the page you can click, or there is a big block at the end of the article as well with links. OGG support for windows media player can be found here. Wikipedia provides a Java way to listen here. It's just me talking, so prolly not worth a great deal of trouble trouble.
Why the Marines? It was on the list of articles to be spoken. My longer term Spoken Wikipedia goal is to record all the entries relating to Dune.
